Welcome

Dear Visitors, Dear Tracking Dog Sports Lovers,

In the spring of 2021, the second Tracking Dogs World Championship was postponed, to everyone’s great sorrow.

It was even more gratifying for us that FCI asked the Hungarian Tracking Dog Handlers Sports Association (Nyomkövető Kutyások Sport Egyesülete) to host, instead of the European Championship), the 26th Tracking Dogs World Championship!

Thank you for the honorable invitation and trust!

With the help of the MEOESZ Hungarian Kennel Club, established more than 100 years ago: it is our pleasure to host the best competitors in the world, representatives of this exceptionally interesting and special dog sport. At the same time: congratulations to the competitors from all registered countries for their results in the national qualifiers. We wish you a similar performance at the World Championship!

Our 5-year-old Sport Association is relatively young but consists of members with decades of experience and enthusiastic young people. In a few years, we have organized several international special competitions, domestic seminars, exams and participated in several breed-specific world championships. Thanks to the work of the association, in recent years this sport has become very popular in Hungary as well, with helpers and supporters from all over the country. Offers have also been received from the surrounding countries, which we thank in advance!

The close location and the hospitable team of the Kincsem Equestrian Park in Tápiószentmárton village guarantee the full range of services for the event. The decorative, soothing environment provides a calm rest and effective competition for the teams of the participating countries. Wide areas with special soil conditions and unique vegetation require a high level of performance. They are a challenge for competing teams but all the more recognition for the winners.

The event center also offers all-day programs of outdoor gymnastics and training, horseback riding, mini golf, and carriage rides. Nearby additional options provide recreation activities like the Environmental Educational Path, the Thermal Bath at Cegléd with accommodation or the Vesta Hotel Thermal Bath in Tápiószecső.

We wish all participants a pleasant stay and great experiences, meeting old and new friends, competitors; with the opportunity to getting to know Hungary’s slightly hidden countryside and its historical past.

We wish all competitors the best results at the 26th Tracking Dogs World Championship!
